On August 11, 2015 Amnesty International’s International Council Meeting passed a resolution on state obligations to respect, protect, and fulfill the human rights of people involved in the sex trade, including support for the decriminalization of sex work. SWOP members are taking this opportunity to educate others on human rights violations sex workers face, including under government approaches like the Nordic Model.
